As a leader in our industry, we are now seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Procurement and Leasing to join our team and drive transformational change in our procurement and leasing functions.

The Opportunity

The Head of Procurement and Leasing will provide strategic leadership, vision, direction, and structure to our procurement and network leasing functions across Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for optimising the end-to-end sourcing and contract management processes while managing our extensive leasing arrangements. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing our enterprise value and ensuring we maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers and landlords.

Your responsibilities:

  • Improve end-to-end sourcing and contract efficiency to boost enterprise value.
  • Lead contract negotiations and foster strategic stakeholder and supplier relationships for maximum impact.
  • Manage rebate agreements and sponsorship funds.
  • Provide expert procurement advice to enhance margins within the business.
  • Enhance procurement capabilities and performance.
  • Establish and apply metrics for procurement benefit assessment.
  • Implement Group-wide procurement governance, sustainable sourcing, and risk management.
  • Drive Abano Group's Procurement Transformation agenda.
  • Lead improvement initiatives in alignment with the Transformation agenda.
  • Engage with practice networks to communicate direction and gather feedback.
  • Efficiently manage lease agreements and property portfolio.
  • Cultivate positive landlord relationships.
  • Proactively oversee property maintenance and refresh programs.
  • Ensure compliance and risk mitigation for the property portfolio.

You:

  • Degree qualified with proven experience in procurement and property management.
  • Proven track record in advanced negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong compliance and contract management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset focused on process improvement.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in long-term landlord relationships.
  • Experience in distributed network management and change leadership.
  • Healthcare background preferred but not essential, with a track record in change management, particularly involving clinical staff.
