At Abano, we are entering an exciting time of transition.  We've recently implemented new systems to fast track the efficiency of our recruitment and onboarding processes, meaning the People & Culture team can provide exceptional experiences to our employees. 

 

The Opportunity

As a People and Culture Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle. The introduction of a cutting-edge HRIS, in Ceridian Dayforce, promises to revolutionise our workflows & processes.

In this role, you'll be responsible for providing invaluable support to the various functions within our P&C team, ensuring outstanding services are delivered to our practices, and our compliance obligations are met.

  • Administrative support to our Business Partners to shape & implement effective people strategies and activities within the business.
  • Administrative support to our Recruitment team, including tracking of candidate compliance and pre-employment checks.
  • Streamline onboarding processes within Dayforce, and support our HRIS Administrator with data integrity and entry, assisting with the seamless onboarding for new staff members.
  • Support to P & C projects as required.

 

You

We're seeking an individual who embodies the following attributes:

  • Experience in administrative roles, and in particular experience with HRIS systems.
  • Previous exposure to entry-level P&C or recruitment positions (desirable)
  • Sound understanding of human resource administration principles
  • Demonstrable commitment to upholding confidentiality
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet critical deadlines
  • Willingness to take direction and develop proficiency in routine tasks with appropriate guidance
  • Exhibits precision in written and verbal communication
  • Quick grasp of new systems and processes
